As you know, in 2012 I started up a community café in our local Village Hall and week before last we celebrated our 2nd birthday. It's all done on a voluntary basis - we have a rota of lovely ladies who bake cakes and who help serve. (The bloke on the end is our local MP). Normally there aren't this many of us serving, but as it was our birthday we all come along dressed up in our party outfits.
Trellech Teas has become a staple of our village life - it is a great place for people to meet up. We get retired people, parents and their children who've just been collected from the local school, visitors and people who have taken a day off work (probably not just to come to Tea though!). We've also raised over £7,500 for the Hall and the BIG Weekend, which is an annual festival we hold in the summer. If you're ever down this way on a Friday afternoon - you'll have to come along. Everyone (including dogs) is welcome. There are more pics on our Facebook page. https://www.facebook.com/pages/Trellech-Village-Hall/241140539242649
